DESCRIPTION: At 203 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Elberton, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Elberton, Calhoun Falls, Lowndesville, Lake Strom Thurmond, Russell State Park, Nancy Hart State Park, Middleton, Lake Russell, Lake Secession, and Fortsonia.
INSTRUCTION: If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.

Freezing rain is a condition where precipitation which has fallen in the form of
